TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY AND THE SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA RADIO CENTER ARE BRINGING BACK YOUR CHANCE TO SING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM AT THE SAMSUNG 500 WEEKEND AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY. EVERY SATURDAY IN MARCH WE WILL HOLD A LOCAL COMPETITION FOR ALL THE TALENTED PEOPLE IN SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTH TEXAS. A WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN FROM EACH COMPETITION AND WILL GO ON TO COMPETE IN THE NATIONAL ANTHEM HOMETOWN HERO COMPETITION AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY ON APRIL 10TH FOR THE CHANCE TO SING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM TO KICK OFF THE FRIDAY RACE ON APRIL 16TH OR THE SATURDAY RACE ON APRIL 17TH. IF YOU ARE A LOCAL HOMETOWN HERO WINNER YOU WILL RECEIVE A PAIR OF TICKETS FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY’S RACES PLUS A PACE CAR RIDE FOR YOU AND YOUR GUEST AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY. Audition locations: March 13th - Mt. View Mall in Ardmore from 11am-2pm, March 20th - 1st Ever Southern Oklahoma Home Show Extravaganza at the Ardmore Convention Center starting at 11am, & March 27th - Blue Pig BBQ in Ardmore from 12p-3p.
