The verdict was handed down yesterday for Tracy Escobedo accused of intentionally causing injury to a child by throwing acid on four children. The jury’s verdict took less than an hour to reach. Prosecutors then asked jurors to return a sentence of life in prison. After another hour of deliberation, the jury sentenced Escobedo to spend the rest of his life in prison. The children’s mother, Cynthia stout, was given 10yrs for her part in the kid’s injuries back in October. All four children are in foster care, and are still receiving treatment for their burns.
