Authorities say they have solved the case with an arrest made in Marietta Oklahoma. Almost 35yrs ago investigators say Bronzi Leon Peppers was shot in the head and killed outside of Augusta Georgia. Coffey now stands accused of murder and is being held in the Love County Jail on a warrant for his role in a 1975 killing of Peppers. Marietta Police say they arrested the 58yr old in the 100 block of 2nd Street N.E… Officers say when they pulled up to the property Coffey was on the front porch and surrendered before they even served the warrant. Georgia investigators say when Coffey was in his early 20’s he took part in the murder, and that the shooting death was over drugs.
