Gov. Mary Fallin has issued a statewide burn ban. The burn ban prohibits outdoor burning in all 77 Oklahoma counties. The governor's statewide burn ban supersedes all county burn bans and will remain in effect until it is lifted by the governor. The ban prohibits campfires, bonfires, fireworks and any outdoor burning. Charcoal and gas grilling is allowed if it's done at least five feet from flammable vegetation.
