David Nail celebrating platinum success of 'I'm on Fire'

David Nail’s No. 1 hit “Whatever She’s Got,” the first single off his forthcoming album, I’m A Fire, has just been certified PLATINUM by the RIAA for sales of 1 million singles sold.

At an event held last night Nail celebrated his No. 1 hit with friends in the Nashville music industry as well as celebrating the release of his new album, I’m A Fire. During the celebration, UMG Nashville Chairman & CEO, Mike Dungan, surprised Nail with a plaque for the hit single reaching PLATINUM status certified by the RIAA.

Next week on March 4th, Nail will release his third album I’m A Fire; an album that reflects Nail being in the best place both personally and professionally that he’s ever been. Fans can now visit David’s website to pre-order I’m A Fire.

Following the success of “Whatever She’s Got” at country radio, on February 18 Nail released his second single from I’m A Fire, “Kiss You Tonight.” The current radio single was written by David Cook, Jay Knowles and Trent Summar.

Catch Nail performing “Kiss You Tonight” and “Whatever She’s Got” out on the road with Darius Rucker on the True Believers Tour, Lady Antebellum for select dates on their Take Me Downtown Tour and Nail’s own headlining dates this spring.
