Blake and Miranda buy home outside of Nashville

Nashville has two more country singers who can call themselves Nashvillians.  Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have purchased a home just outside of Nashville.

Miranda told Taste of Country her and her hubby are ready to put down roots in Music City,

“We just bought a house here in Nashville, outside of town,” the songstress reveals. “We had a condo for awhile, but we wanted to like, kinda put roots down, because we’re always going to be in Nashville.”

Although their roots can finally start growing with the purchase of the new home it sounds like the couple enjoys traveling between all of their homes,

“We live in Oklahoma full time, but we of course lease a place in L.A. when Blake’s working on ‘The Voice,’” Lambert dishes, adding that she enjoys her time in the southern California sunshine. “When we leave Oklahoma, we’re leaving 20 degree weather and it’s snowing and sleeting, and we get to L.A. and it’s sunny and 75, and I’m just like … ‘Oh, thank goodness.’”

Some of Miranda’s memorabilia, gowns, stage costumes, awards and more will be on display at the Country Music Hall of Fame with her Miranda Lambert: Backstage Access exhibit, which opens on May 16th, and runs through November 9th.
